saturday, july 19th - figment boston - somerville, ma
at this point, we're the longest running project at figment/boston. most people change up their projects, but we keep coming back with the real time art show. at this point, i feel like we're almost obligated. so much fun to see all of our burner friends again.
saturday, june 13th - medford brewery - medford, ma
greg and his band verona downs had an album release party! he decided to invite us, as well as vaun downs to play. always good to be playing back in medford. mike even showed and did sound for us all. thanks to everyone that came out, drank some brews and shook some shakers!
tuesday, may 26th - toad - cambridge, ma
tom threw his annual open mic in honor of hugh mcgowen. so sad that he's no longer with us. jay told the story of how hugh turned us from rival bands into more like co-conspiriters and even hooked us up with our first bar gig back in quincy. that's the kind of person hugh was, even way back in college. it was fun how our post college lives crossed paths so often within the music scene.
saturday, may 2nd - underbones - somerville, ma
man, what a great night! for whatever reason, we were making this an old school goh show. we walked around davis square and put up fish all around.. and meghan found them! and of course we brought the shakers. we even brought pez in case we broke a string to do a giveaway. we only broke a string in sound check, so we got that out of the way. it was amazing that so many folks were able to make it out and the show was a blast. after us, krisha guthrie and band... the great grandson of woody played and they were both nice and great. finally we ended the night with a throwdown from our friends, kier byrnes and the kettle burners. always fun to see them and great to be sharing the room! thanks to all that came out!
february - arlington, ma
we are chipping away at this latest album titled: nowhere to go but up. it's getting there. we're in the mixing/tweaking phase that sometimes lasts way too long.
